Sugar Free Classic Green Smoothie

This is one of my favourite smoothie combinations when I’m craving something filling and very healthy.  This is a smoothie you can drink for breakfast, before a workout, or when you need to fuel up for a long day ahead.

I always thought you needed sugar for energy, but when I started drinking this smoothie I realized my energy was being fuelled by healthy fats and it lasted longer than a sugar high.

This green smoothie tastes like a classic green smoothie. It’s meant to taste nourishing, filling and yummy.  This smoothie really relaxes my stomach, I’ve never felt that gut rot feeling I’ve felt from smoothies that have lots of fruit in it. I also noticed my skin is always looking so good after drinking this and it really reduces inflammation in my body.

I guarantee this sugar free smoothie recipe will make its way in your green smoothie rotation and become a favourite!

Sugar Free Classic Green Smoothie

Course Drinks
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 1


  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 6-12 ice cubes


  1. place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

Recipe Notes

*ice really helps to create the perfect texture in this smoothie so its important not to skip this ingredient. Green smoothies also taste better when they’re cold.
